Demand payment of an unpaid invoice or direct debt

Turn the invoice, due date, credits, payment history, and unpaid balance into a clear business letter. This fact-based letter does not insert a state statute or collection-law threat. It is available only to the person or business directly owed the money.

What should an unpaid invoice demand include?

Identify the invoice or agreement, what was provided, the original amount, credits or payments, the remaining balance, and a concrete response date. Attach the invoice and relevant correspondence when available. The letter should state the account facts directly without threatening criminal action, credit reporting, public exposure, or a legal remedy the sender cannot genuinely pursue.

Does this letter cite state debt-collection law?

No. This flow is for an original creditor collecting money owed directly to that person or business. The generated letter uses the entered account facts and does not add state-specific debt-collection citations. A user collecting for someone else is declined because third-party collection can trigger federal and state requirements outside this product.

How much should I demand?

Demand the supported unpaid principal after subtracting credits and payments. The generator does not calculate interest, late fees, attorney fees, court costs, collection costs, or statutory multipliers. A contractually supported amount can be described in the factual record only when the user enters and verifies it; the product does not decide enforceability.

Is the PDF court approved?

No. The PDF uses a formal, organized layout that can preserve the account facts and delivery record commonly useful before a civil filing. It is not court approved, does not guarantee admissibility, and does not start a lawsuit. Check the official court website for the applicable forms, limits, filing rules, and service requirements.
